Railbird is fronted by songwriter and singer Sarah Pedinotti and includes Tony Markellis on bass, Chris Kyle on guitar and Chris Carey on drums and mandolin. Together they are an eclectic fusion of rock, Americana, and folk-rock. In a recent review of "City Bird" Pedinotti’s songs are compared to that of Bruce Springsteen, Jacque Brel, Dr. John and Tom Waits. Sarah was listed as one of Billboard's editors' top ten favorite artists for 2007.
